The Aventura Mall

There's only one drawback to Sushi Siam at the Aventura Mall, and it's a biggie: It shares a corridor with the noisy AMC 24 movie theater. OVERVIEW:
Once you get past, both literally, and in your mind, the fact that Sushi Siam neighbors the boisterous AMC 24 movie theater, you're in for a genuine treat. The quality of the food at Sushi Siam is on par with Aventura's better sushi restaurants, for sure. I've been to Sushi Siam a few times and my impressions are always that the food is: soft, fresh, and tasty, and that it's served in a warm, comfortable, inviting, and great-looking dining room. Naturally, they've got the rolls you'd expect to find everywhere (California, Spider, JB, Rainbow, and Spicy Tuna), but Sushi Siam features a lot that will surprise you. The best of the bunch is its "Beauty and the Beast" roll, made with tuna and eel, accompanied by scallions, avocado, asparagus, and massago, topped with eel sauce. And if you've never had frogs legs, give them a try. Sushi Siam has plenty of other delicacies, too, like squid and baby octopus. For those who either dislike or are apathetic to uncooked fish, there's a litany of excellent Thai and Teryaki options from which to choose. Pricey, no doubt, so be prepared for a big check at the end of your meal.
