The Waterways Shoppes
The Peppermill at the Waterways is in desperate need of an aesthetic upgrade, but the seafood choices are mostly memorable.

OVERVIEW:
The view is amazing.
On the whole, this is not a very good restaurant because of the service and the lame decor.
So if you must dine here, come
at sundown and ask for a table on the back patio. You'll be amazed at how magnificent the marina looks as day
turns into night.
As for the food, it typically falls somewhere between "good" and "very good."
Always expensive.
Unfortunately, the only word that can accurately convey the level of service is "bad."
The wait-staff is known to be slow and inattentive.
That surliness was on full display during my recent visit
in preparation for this review.
They walk around and barely acknowledge your presence.
When I was finally able to ask for a refill of this or an order of that,
it took an unthinkably long time for delivery of my requests.
Too bad there is such phenomenal mismanagement.
As the letters on the marquee clearly show at the main entrance, and as you'll see once you step inside, the
upkeep on Werner Staub's Peppermill has been nonexistent in recent years.
The restaurant doesn't even have a website.
What potential the Peppermill has for greatness.
Sad the possibilities are being completely wasted.
