OVERVIEW:
The burgers are very good. The steaks are great.
The décor is magnificent. Unlike anything you'll see in South Florida, what with the
classic, red-brick walls, and rich wood finishes.
Best of all about Prime Bar is the massive selection of drafts.
More than three dozen taps festoon the long, narrow bars (one inside, another on the patio).
Such great fun to look over the choices, sample a few, then sample a few more,
before ordering up a tall, cold one.
The pours are enormous, too. The beer glasses must be about 24 ounces.
A very cool bartender will surely present you with some samples.
Upon my most recent visit, I tried four microbrews in shot-glasses before settling on the "Magic Hat #9" from Vermont.
Prime Bar has lagers from all over (the U.S., England, Belgium, Australia, Mexico, Ireland, and Germany).
You cannot go wrong with the signature burger. It's called the "Primebar Burger" and explodes with flavor from the
goat cheese, arugula, mushrooms, tomato, onions, pickles, and brioche. It's my favorite.
The barbecue burger is also excellent. I'm anxious to try Prime Bar's bone-in ribeye, topped with a gorgonzola glaze, about which I've heard
raves. Friendly and fun restaurant.
